Collections

Creating collections, content types, Packs, and organizing workflows

What are collections?

Collections are user-created groups for organizing projects, bounces, or both. They serve as workspaces for reviewing mixes, browsing material, and playing back audio — like playlists for your production work.

Content types

Each collection specifies what it can contain:

  • Projects — DAW session references (Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools)
  • Bounces — Audio files (WAV, MP3, AIFF, FLAC)
  • Plugin Dependencies — Plugins used across included projects

Packs

A collection that only contains bounces is displayed as a "Pack" — a shareable audio bundle. Packs are ideal for grouping stems, master bounces, or sample packs for collaboration.

Playlist mode

Collections default to a clean playlist/reader view. Bounce rows show play buttons, duration, and format metadata. Use the pencil icon to toggle edit mode when you need to add or remove content. In playlist mode you can click Play All to queue every bounce in the collection.

Creating collections

Click the "+" button in the Collections sidebar, give your collection a name, choose content types and a color, then start adding projects or bounces. You can also create collections automatically using the command DSL with the collect action.

select bounces where name:~master | collect "Master Bounces"
